Abstract:
To provide an aluminum fin material for a heat exchanger suitably used in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner and the like having superior water repellency and corrosion resistance as a thinned precoating material.
This aluminum fin material 1 for the heat exchanger includes a base 2 made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, a backing treatment layer 3 formed on a surface of the base 2 and made of a hydrophobic resin, and a water-repellent layer 4 formed on a surface of the backing treatment layer 3 and made of hydrophobic porous fine particles 4a having an average particle diameter of 0.1-10 μm and a pore diameter of 1-50 nm. An attachment amount of the hydrophobic porous fine particles 4a in the water-repellent layer 4 is 10-10,000 mg/m2.
