Abstract:
To provide an aluminum foil for an electrode of electrolytic capacitor, from which a foil electrode (particularly a foil anode) with high capacitance can be produced.
The aluminum foil for the electrode of electrolytic capacitor comprises the following element composition; 10-40 ppm Si, 10-40 ppm Fe, 10-60 ppm Cu, 0.3-5.2 ppm Mn, 1.1-10 ppm Ga, 1.5-7.7 ppm Zn, 0.2-1.3 ppm Cr, 0.2-3.3 ppm B, 0.4-1.7 ppm V, 1 ppm or less Ti, 0.3-0.5 ppm Mg, 0.1-0.2 ppm Ni, 0.1-0.2 ppm Sn, 1 ppm or less Pb, and 99.985 mass% or more Al. The aluminum foil for the electrode of electrolytic capacitor can be obtained by means of homogenizing an aluminum ingot of the above elemental composition, and then hot rolling and cold rolling it.
