Abstract:
To provide a method and a device of producing aluminum foil, having a high recovery rate of aluminum, a high speed of producing aluminum-film, and excellent productivity.SOLUTION: The method of producing aluminum foil comprises a step of preparing an electrolysis tank comprising a cathode and an anode submerged in an electrolytic solution, a step of electrodepositing an aluminum film on the cathode by way of pulse electrolysis, and a step of peeling off the electrodeposited aluminum film from the cathode to obtain aluminum foil, wherein the pulse electrolysis is carried out under the following conditions: at an electrolytic potential of -3.0 to 0.0 V vs. Al/Al(III), at a current density of 50 to 200 mA/cm, and for a current off-time (T) of 4 ms or longer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
