Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover an aluminum material with high purity from sheets with aluminum foil which are used for packing paper, etc., for tobaccoes.
SOLUTION: Sheet materials with the aluminum foil charged from a hopper 1 are shredded to small sized by means of a shredder 2 and are then heat- treated in a vacuum furnace 3. At this time, paper materials are burned at a temperature of approximately 600°C under the reduced pressure condition. Thereafter, fragments of the aluminum material are formed into the granular shape with a granulating machine 5. Then, carbon is removed with a vibrating screen 6, and the granular-shaped aluminum material is recovered into a prescribed container 7.
