Abstract:

To provide a method for manufacturing a corrosion resistant aluminum heat exchanger.

In the aluminum heat exchanger manufacturing method, fins (15) with a brazing filler metal covering them are assembled with extruded aluminum tubes (14) having multiple holes, and an assembly of the tubes (14) with the fins (15) is integrally brazed. Non-corrosive flux exhibiting a zinc substitution reaction is applied to the surface of the extruded aluminum tubes having multiple holes, and the extruded tubes (14) having multiple holes are assembled with the fins (15), and brazed thereto.
