Abstract:
To provide an aluminum heat sink for cooling liquid, which is integrated without post-processing of a pin and a case, and is formed by improving a degree of freedom in a case formation and a pin formation (density, thickness, arrangement, and directional property), and provide a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A heat sink 1 is formed by integrally casting a plurality of pins 3 and a case 2. The case 2 has an open 6 as a gateway of liquid, and the plurality of pins 3 is integrally casted to the case 2. The liquid-cooled type heat sink 1 is manufactured by a method including, in the following order: a step of preparing a water soluble core comprising a plurality of penetration hole parts in which the pins 3 are formed while casting a molten metal, and an open type part in which the open 6 is formed in the case 2 without casting the molten metal; a step of casting an intermediate structure formed by integrating the water soluble core by casting the molten metal in a casting mold after the water soluble core is arranged at one part in the casting mold; and a step of dissolving the water soluble core structuring the intermediate structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
