Abstract:
To provide aluminum hydroxide suited as a filler capable of imparting sufficient surface hardness to a resin, to provide an aluminum slurry containing the same, to provide a resin composition having sufficient surface hardness, and to provide a simple method for producing the aluminum hydroxide.
The aluminum hydroxide is characterized in that the main crystal phase comprises boehmite, it contains a metallic element selected from magnesium and manganese, the particles are acicular, and the mean length diameter of the particles is 10 to 900 nm.
