Abstract:
To provide an aluminum material processing method that can easily and accurately perform bending work on an aluminum material composed of extruded aluminum material having a flange and a web, and a finished article.SOLUTION: A method of processing an aluminum material W performs bending work on an aluminum material W composed of an extruded material of aluminum or an aluminum alloy having webs 25, 27 formed in a direction crossing with flanges 21, 23 in cross-sectional view. A heat input part H is set on the flange 21 which is to lie on an inner side in a bending direction at a bending scheduled position P at which the aluminum material W is bent. By forming a bead B by heating and melting the heat input part H on the flange 21, heat strain associated with coagulation and contraction of the heat input part H is applied to the aluminum material W to bend the flange 21 as the inner side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
