Abstract:
To provide an aluminum pipe having sufficient pitching corrosion resistance, which can be easily manufactured at a low cost.
An inlet pipe 6 and an outlet pipe 7 for a condenser are formed of an alloy containing, by mass, 0.9-1.5% Mn and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. Zn is diffused in a surface layer portion to the depth of ≥ 60 μm from uppermost outer circumferential surfaces of the inlet pipe 6 and the outlet pipe 7, and the Zn concentration of the surface layer portion is set to be, by mass, 0.20-0.70%.
