Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum wheel capable of being designed ornamentally with a high degree of freedom and suppressing the weight to the minimum necessary to give proper strength at all times.
SOLUTION: The aluminum wheel for an automobile is composed of an aluminum body part 1 and a cover as an ornamental part fixed removably to the aluminum body part. The aluminum body part 1 is equipped with a rim part 2 and a disc part 6 and gives a desired strength to the aluminum wheel. The cover is composed of a cover body 10 having substantially a disc shape covering the front face of the aluminum body part 1 and fixing means installed on the rear surface of the cover body at a certain spacing in the circumferential direction.
