To provide an ambient temperature curing coating composition having UV resistance, flexibility, adhesiveness to a substrate and high heat resistance and being low in contents of volatile organic compounds.
An ambient temperature curing coating composition includes a polysiloxane expressed by formula, an alkoxysilyl-functional acrylic polymer, and a curing catalyst. In the formula, each R1 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl and alkoxy groups having up to six carbon atoms, a reactive glycidoxy group and an OSi(OR3)3 group, wherein each R3 independently has the same meaning as R1, and each R2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and alkyl and aryl groups having up to six carbon atoms; and that n is selected so that the molecular weight of polysiloxane ranges from 500 to 2,000; in the formula.
