Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I [A is formula II-formula IV (R1 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, etc.); R2, R3 are H, alkyl, halogen, alkoxy, CN, etc.); B is formula V-formula VII (R4-R6 are H, alkyl, halogen), OR7, SR7 (R7 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl); D is CN, CNSH2, CSNHCOR8 (R8 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl)] and its optical isomers. EXAMPLE:N-(Cyano-2-thienylmethyl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide. USE:A fungicide for agricultural and horticultural purposes. PREPARATION:For example, an aldehyde of the formula: R-CHO is allowed to react with aqueous ammonia and an alkali cyanide, and the resultant aminoacetonitrile derivative of formula VIII is allowed to react with an acid halide of the formula: A-COX (X is halogen) in the presence of an acid acceptor to give the compound of formula I.
