PURPOSE: To provide an epoxy resin thermohardening adhesive composition with high separating and shearing strength, which contains a hardening reactive product formed with a polyepoxide and a cohardening agent containing amido- amine, oxamido-amine, etc., as respectively specified.
CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises hardening reactive product containing (A) a vicinal polyepoxide with reactive 1,2-epoxy groups of average 1.8 or more per molecule and (B) a cohardening agent formed with (i) amido-amine containing reactive product 1-mol iso- or terephthalic acid and 2-mol polyoxypropylene amine derivative as shown in formula I (X is 2-40), (ii) a cohardening agent containing aliphatic polyether amine and/or aromatic amine or oxamido-amine as shown in formula II (R is polyoxypropylene in formula III (X is 2-40)) and (iii) aliphatic polyether amine, aliphatic polyamine, aromatic amine or these mixture.
