PURPOSE: To obtain an amine curable compsn. useful for use in a floor finishing material and a coating film by compounding a monomer or oligomer having both functionalities of an epoxy and an acrylate in the same molecule with an amine curing agent.
CONSTITUTION: (A) At least one partially acrylated epoxy monomer or oligomer having a mol.wt. of 150-10,000 and containing at least one 1,2-epoxide group and at least one terminal acrylate or methacrylate group and (B) an active mono-, di- or polyamine curing agent contained in an amt. at least sufficient to react with substantially all of the 1,2-epoxide group, the acrylate group or the methacrylate group are compounded just before use to obtain a curable compsn. This curable compsn. is applied to a support to be cured to form various protective coating films, decorative coating films or floor finishing materials.
