PURPOSE: To provide new compounds useful as an insecticide and showing an excellent insecticidal effect especially to cotton aphid, green rice leafhopper of an organophosphorus compound-or carbamate-resistant line, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Compounds of formula I (R1 is heterocycle; X is alkylene, alkylidene or-NR3-; R3 is H, alkyl, etc.; R2 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, etc.; A, B and D are C, hetero or single bond; E is-CO-,-CS-,-SO2-, etc.; Q is H, alkyl, alkenyl, nitro, etc.), e.g. 1-(2-chloro-5-pyridylmethylamino)-1-cyclohexan-3-one. The compounds of formula I can be obtained by reacting a compound of formula II [Z is S(O)n, R11, OR12, etc., (R11 is 1-4C alkyl, phenyl, etc.; R12 is 1-4C alkyl, phenyl, etc.; n is 0-2)] with a compound of formula III in the presence of a Lewis catalyst as necessary in a solvent such as toluene or without using a solvent at room temperature-reflux temperature.
