NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [R1 is group of formula II or formula III (the ring A is benzene ring or cyclohexane ring; Y and Z are H or together form single bond, O, S, CH=CH, etc.; R4 and R5 are H, halogen, alkyl, etc.; d and e are 1W4); R2 is H, alkyl or alkoxy; R3 is H, halogen, OH, NO2, alkyl, etc; W is carbonyl or sulfonyl; X is alkylene; a is 1W3; b is 0W5; c is 1W5] and its salt.
EXAMPLE: 11-[ 3-( 4-Phenyl-1-piperadinyl )propylcarboxamido]-6,11-dihydrodibenzo [b,e]thiepine.
USE: It exhibits strong anti-calcium activity, and is useful as a remedy for ischemic circulatory disorder or hypertension.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be prepared e.g. by reacting the compound of formula IV (V is reactive ester residue of alcohol) with the compound of formula V preferably in the presence of a base.
