Abstract:
Aminoazo compounds of the general formula where A is the radical of a diazo component or coupling component, R is a radical of the formula CN, COOR1, COSR1, CONH2, CONHNH2, CONH-NH-COR1, +TR where R1 is unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl or aryl, R2 is hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted alkyl and R3 is hydrogen or a radical R1, Z is amino or R and Z together are a radical of the formula -NHCO-O-CO-, X is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, methoxy, ethoxy, propoxy, butoxy, phenoxy, methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, acetylamino, dimethylamino, diethylamino, carboxyl or -NO2 and aminobenzoic acid amides, monochloroanilines and dichloroanilines are excluded as diazo components A if R1 is C1-C4-alkyl, methoxyethyl or butoxyethoxyethyl. The compounds according to the invention are exceptionally suitable for use as diazo components and intermediates for the preparation of dyes.
