Title:
AMMONIA REDUCING CATALYST OF NITROGEN OXIDE EXHAUST GAS AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3496964
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a catalyst having high strength and high activity by selecting the moisture content of a nitrogen oxide removing catalyst at the time of forming to make it possible to individually change the activity and strength of the catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: A process kneading one or more kind of an active component salt of vanadium, molybdenum, tungsten and iron with titanium oxide under heating in the presence of water to obtain paste and a process drying and/or baking the obtained paste are provided. Further, a process grinding dried or baked material to obtain a first component and a process using a hydrated titanium oxide powder as a second component to mix the first and second components in a wt. ratio of 1/99-30/70 and adding water to the resulting mixture to knead the same with the mixture to obtain paste and a process molding the obtained paste to dry and bake the same are provided to produce a catalytically reducing and denitrating catalyst due to NH3. By this method, the catalyst having high pore volume, high activity and high strength is obtained.
