Abstract:

To provide a refrigeration device using ammonia as a refrigerant, excellent in compatibility with the ammonia refrigerant and using a lubricant excellent in lubricating properties and stability.

This ammonia refrigeration device comprises circulating a working fluid composed of the ammonia and the lubricant containing a polyester represented by the following formulae (1) and (2): X[-O-(AO)n-H]p (1); and X[- O-(AO1)a-(AO2)b-H]p (2), wherein, Xs denote a residue obtained by removing hydroxyl group from a monool or a polyol; (AO)n denotes an AO(alkylene oxide) chain composed by copolymerization of EO(ethylene oxide) and an AO having ≥3C; (AO1)a denotes an AO chain composed by copolymerization of EO, PO (propylene oxide) and/or BO(butylenes oxide); AO2 denotes an AO having ≥3C; and the number of secondary hydroxyl groups in hydroxyl groups at the structural terminals is ≥50% based on the total hydroxyl groups through a refrigeration cycle in the ammonia refrigeration device configured by the refrigeration cycle including a refrigeration compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator.
