Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammonia storage and release device which uses as an ammonia storage material, magnesium chloride, and in which an ammonia storage amount of the ammonia storage material can be increased and ammonia release temperature thereof can be lowered.SOLUTION: An ammonia storage and release device 1 is provided which includes an ammonia storage tank 12 filled with an ammonia storage material 10 for storing ammonia and releasing the stored ammonia by being heated. The ammonia storage material 10 includes hydrate of magnesium chloride, and a hydration number of the hydrate of the magnesium chloride is in the range of 0.8-6.
