Abstract:
To provide a non-fibrous shaped short size gas-occulusion carbon substance for a gas (hydrogen).
An oval hollow amorphous carbon nano-capsule having an outer diameter of 10-300 nm and a length of 30-500 nm is prepared by allowing gaseous decomposed product of polyvinyl chloride to contact with cobalt (II) chloride hexahydrate (catalyst) at 200-1,500°C.
