Abstract:
To provide: a compact and inexpensive magnetic core which uses amorphous magnetic powder having poor moldability and has a complex shape; and a magnetic device which uses the magnetic core.SOLUTION: Provided is a magnetic core 1 comprising a thermally cured molded product of a magnetic material. The magnetic material is a mixture of magnetic powder and a thermosetting binding resin 4. The magnetic powder is amorphous metal powder 2 coated with an inorganic insulation coating 3. The inorganic insulation coating 3 is a low melting point glass which softens at a temperature lower than a crystallization start temperature of the amorphous metal powder 2. In the magnetic material, the content of the magnetic powder is 97 mass% or more and 98 mass% or less, and the content of the thermosetting binding resin 4 is 2 mass% or more and 3 mass% or less relative to a total amount of the magnetic powder and the thermosetting binding resin 4.
