To provide amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder which has a grain size smaller than that of metal powder by the conventional technique and also has high saturation magnetic flux density.
By adopting a liquid phase reduction method where a reducing liquid comprising a B-based reducing agent is dropt to a raw material liquid comprising an iron salt, a complexing agent, a dispersant, a pH adjustor and a P-based reducing agent, the amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder having a grain size smaller than that of the metal powder by the conventional technique and having high saturated magnetic flux density can be obtained. Further, by mixing the obtained amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder with a binder and subjecting the mixture to compression molding, a dust core for an inductor having a low loss in a frequency region higher than that in the dust core for an inductor by the conventional technique can be obtained.
