Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sports shoes having a good draining property when they are raised from the underwater by providing each of the sports shoes with one or more openings penetrating the rubber bottom thereof and having the equivalent diameter of a specific value or above on or near each heel section and midfoot section respectively, and an insole made of a net.
SOLUTION: Each of sports shoes 1 is constituted of a rubber bottom 3 and an upper 5, and two water passing through openings 9 are formed on the rubber bottom 3 at the position slightly off the center of a heel portion and at the position slightly off a midfoot section respectively. The equivalent diameter of these openings 9 is set to 5mm or above, an insole 11 made of a net is fitted on an inner bottom 7, and the insole 11 is fixed to the peripheral edge section of the inner bottom 7 by an optional method such as sewing. When a person goes onto a floor from the underwater while wearing the sports shoes 1, water is satisfactorily drained within two sec, he can normally walk or run comfortably, and he can nearly freely move between the underwater and the land.
