Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a submarine boat which can easily approach or depart a pier or be hoisted by providing a pair of the right and left drive wheels capable of supporting a hull respectively at the front and rear of the lower end section of the pressure-proof structure hull and protruding Schneider propellers outwardly respectively on the outside of the wheels. CONSTITUTION:Horizontal shaft Schneider propellers 3 are arranged outwardly respectively on the front and rear and the right and left of the lower end of a submarine boat 1. Multiple variable-pitch rotary blades 3 having a blade- shaped cross section are protruded on the outside end face of a relatively large- diameter drive wheel 2 of each propeller 3. The rotary blades 3 can be changed simultaneously to the desired pitch via an interlocking mechanism, and the outer diameter of the wheel 2 is formed somewhat larger than the diameter of the circumscribed circle of the rotary blades 3. Thereby, the wheels 2 are driven for running on the land. On the other hand, the wheels 2 are driven for running on the water bottom or the propellers 3 are driven for running in the water.
