Abstract:
To provide an amphiphatic coating film material supplied on at least a part of one surface of an article.
The amphiphatic coating film material comprises a polymer having a hydrophobic main chain derived from a vinyl portion and a hydrophilic hanging chain derived from a polyethylene oxide portion. This invention also provides an article having an amphiphatic coating film on the surface. The hydrophobic main chain derived from the vinyl portion is attached to at least the one surface of the article. The hydrophilic hanging chain derived from the polyethylene oxide portion extends from the hydrophobic main chain to form a three-dimensional netlike structure.
