The power source cut off means cuts off the power supply from the power source part to the analog broadcasting receiving part when the analog broadcasting ends. The analog and digital broadcasting television receiver has an analog broadcasting end discriminating means for discriminating the end of analog broadcasting, wherein the power source cut off means cuts off the power supply from the power source part to the analog broadcasting receiving part in response to discrimination of the analog broadcasting end discriminating means.
