PURPOSE: To attach and detach hands smoothly and to fix hands certainly, by forming a coating using a specific composition comprising an organometallic compound having a solid lubricating agent dispersed on parts forming the time display mechanism of a wrist watch.

CONSTITUTION: A composition in which an organometallic compound[e.g., Al (OC3H7)3 or CH3Si (OCH3)3)]and a solid lubricating agent[e.g., MoS2 or (CF)n]are dissolved (or dispersed) in an organic solvent is used. The above-mentioned composition is applied on the entire surface or the mutual sliding part of parts comprising the time display mechanism of an analog display wrist watch (the minute hand and its fittings and the hour hand and its fittings), and then the parts coated are heat-treated for about 5W100min at about 60W250°C. Thus, the coating is formed on the surface of parts constituting the time display mechanism.
