Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog electronic clock capable of reliably controlling unit step rotation of a rotor.SOLUTION: An analog electronic clock which has an hour hand, a minute hand and a second hand going around with a unit step operation of a stepping motor 105 comprises: a rotor 30 which makes the hour hand, the minute hand and the second hand go around and has magnetic polarity; a stator 20 which includes magnetic pole parts 20A-20C arranged around the rotor 30; coils 50A and 50B which excite the magnetic pole parts 20A-20C; and a control part for applying a pulse group, which includes a rotation pulse for rotating the rotor 30 and a brake pulse applied before application of the rotation pulse for braking the rotation of the rotor 30, to the coils 50A and 50B so as to control the rotor 30 for each unit step according to each pulse group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
