PURPOSE: To prevent the disconnection of an electrode film by ensuring that a distance between the electrode films and the distance between spacers satisfy specific conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A touch panel 11 is provided with electrode films 13 and 14 formed on the surfaces of two insulated base materials 12 and 15 arranged face to face at a prescribed distance while being arranged approximately in parallel with each other. These insulated basic materials 12 and 15 covered with the electrode films 13 and 14 on their surfaces are provided at the prescribed distance G (μm) so that each surface of the electrode films 13 and 14 can face each other and in parallel with each other via a spacer 16. The distance G (μm) between the electrode films and the distance L (μm) between the spacers satisfy a formula of 120G≥L≥45G. Thus, the disconnection of the electrode films and therefore faulty continuity can be prevented.
