To provide an analysis method capable of discriminating whether a sample is a material containing hemoglobin, mainly an animal living tissue such as blood or not, nondestructively with high sensitivity and high reliability, without requiring complicated pretreatment, and regardless of knowledge or experience of a measurer.
This analysis method for discriminating whether an object sample is a material including hemoglobin or not is characterized as follows: the object sample and a hemoglobin standard material are irradiated with a laser; a Raman spectrum is measured; and a peak appearing in the Raman spectrum of the object sample is compared with a peak originated in a hem (complex compound formed by coordinating iron ion on porphyrin) portion in a Raman spectrum of the hemoglobin standard material.
