Abstract:

To provide a method of analyzing the burning behavior of a combustor system of a gas turbine engine in time domain.

A burning behavior analyzing system 410 comprises a database 420, including information related to the combustor system having an inlet pipe fluid-communicated and connected to a combustion chamber 106 in the gas turbine engine 100, and a processor communicatably connected to the database. The processor reads at least part of the information in the database, then determines the characteristic equation of the waves moving inside the inlet pipe, measures the sound pressure vibration in the combustion chamber, measures the pressure fluctuations inside the inlet pipe using the characteristic equation and the measured sound pressure vibration, and outputs display of the measured pressure fluctuations.
