Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an analytical method for inspecting mixtures on toxic components.
CONSTITUTION: This analytical method for inspecting mixtures on toxic components is, at first, to separate the mixture to be inspected on toxic components into fractions by chromatography, bring the separated fractions to contact with photogenic microorganisms in the chromatographic system, measure toxicity of the fractions by measuring bioluminescence. The chromatographic separation is performed by either a thin layer chromatography or a column liquid chromatography. Toxicity of individual components included in the mixture are selectively detected by the analytical method.
