Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject device to which various reagents and fluorescent samples can be applied using the same light source by irradiating the sample with light at a wavelength for decomposing the reagent in the sample and light at a wavelength for exciting a fluorescent reagent in the sample and forming an enlarged image of the sample with the fluorescence.
CONSTITUTION: The wavelength of light taken out of a light source is changed with band-pass filters (172a) and (172b) using a discharge tube 150, etc., as the light source and only the light at a specific position in a specified shape is passed through apertures (174a) and (174b). Fluorescence in the light transmitting an object lens 160 is transmitted through a dichroic mirror 162 and a cut filter 181.
