Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve accuracy for analyzing a waveform by performing the analysis concerning both of waveform information and gain information.
CONSTITUTION: Concerning an inputted image, the input blocks of m×n pixels [(m) and (n) are positive integers] are extracted by a block extraction part 2. Cotninuously, an average value separating block is outputted by subtracting an average value from each picture element after an average value separation part 4 calculates the average values of input blocks. Concerning this average value separating block, a waveform analysis part 14 analyzes a feature amount in the direction of a gradation change. On the other hand, a gain analysis part 20 analyzes a feature amount in an amplitude direction. Basing on these results, an area judge part 12 judges the waveform of the input block.
