Title:
ANALYZER OF VOLATILE SAMPLE BY ATOMIC SPECTROMETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03150449
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable freezing, absorbing and evaporating a sample by constituting an infrared radiator arranged outside a cooling jacket from a heating means and producing pipe parts and the cooling jacket from fused silica which allows infrared rays to pass through.

CONSTITUTION: This device consists of a carrier gas conduit 1 used for introducing a carrier gas flow containing a volatile sample into a measuring device, a pipe part constituting one part of this carrier gas conduit 1, a cooling jacket 16 for passing a coolant to cool this pipe part 15 in coordination with the pipe part 15, a gas-permeable filling body 6 present in the pipe part 15 for depositing the volatile sample there during a cooling stage, and a heating means which is in association with the pipe part 15 for evaporating the volatile sample from the gas-permeable filling body 6 during a heating stage and contains an infrared radiator 19 arranged outside the cooling jacket 16. The sample can be thereby frozen and/or absorbed and evaporated thereafter in a compact arrangement.
