PURPOSE: To enable simple and quick use of a titled element in quantitative analysis of the component in a fluid sample with an ordinary spectrophotometer with substantially no generation of uneven concn. in the sample and no chromatograph phenomenon by coating a dispersion of fibers and a white pigment thereby forming a fiber structure developed layer.
CONSTITUTION: Natural cellulose, synthetic fibers such as PE, PP, polyamide or the like, or glass fibers are exemplified as the fiber material for forming a fiber structure developed layer which is formed by random and three-dimentional entanglement of various fibers. The fiber structure developed layer is formed by dispersing these fibers and white pigment into a liquid carrier which does not dissolve said fibers and white pigment, adding the above-mentioned high polymer thereto to prepare the dispersion of said fiber and white pigment, and applying the stable dispersion on a base then removing the liquid carrier while forming said fiber structure.
