Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing fluoride ion with high sensitivity by a more simple operation than a conventional analyzing method and analyzing reagent in a quantitative analysis of the ion.
SOLUTION: A fluorophotometry is used to measure fluoride ion, a novel analysis reagent is used, and an operating method having decided pH regulation, heating temperature and time is used to measure with high sensitivity. As the reagent, any of trivalent cation of aluminum, cerium or lanthanum is used. As ligand, 2-methylamino-4,5-diphenylimidazole are provided. Since the ligand is substituted to be reacted with the fluoride ion to be analyzed and liberated in liquid to be detected, its fluorescent intensity is measured to calculate fluoride ion concentration.
