Title:
ANALYZING METHOD USING POLYMER-COPPER COMPLEX FOR RESTRICTING INTERFERENCE OF BIOLOGICAL SUBSTANCE IN COLORIMETRIC TEST SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3256305
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a blood sample more easily to a colorimetric analysis by bonding a water insoluble complex prepared from copper and a polymer having a multiple pendant carboxyl group to a biological substance so that the complex can be eliminated from an aqueous solution.
CONSTITUTION: A water insoluble complex prepared from copper and a polymer having a multiple pendant carboxyl group is bonded to a biological substance in a blood which has a potential interfering characteristic, so that the complex can be eliminated from an aqueous solution. The biological substance is hemoglobin or bilirubin, and the polymer is selectable from polymers expressed by the formula. The polymer-copper complex is mixed with the blood sample by approximately 0.2-20% (W/V), preferably, approximately 0.5-10%. The polymer-copper complex and an insoluble reaction product of the biological substance are eliminated from the blood sample by a centrifugal method, a decantation method or a filtration method.
