Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cancel the other reflected component by one reflected component at a terminator and to enhance the accuracy of the analysis by utilizing that only one polarity is inverted while the reflected wave from the terminator due to the error in the terminator condition of an analyzing area holds the proportional relation between the electric field and the magnetic field of an incident wave.

CONSTITUTION: A space circuit network method and a TLM method define the voltage and the current corresponding to an electric field and a magnetic field at the same node and time of an area to be analyzed, generate a reflected wave when there is a discontinuous part at the time of propagating the electromagnetic wave, and advances reversely to the input. That is, the polarity of either the electric field or the magnetic field becomes reverse to the input wave, and the impedances of the input wave and the reflected wave are the same media, and hence they become the same value. This phenomenon is satisfied for the reflected wave due to an error under incomplete terminator condition. Accordingly, the same terminator conditions are independently applied to the electric field and the magnetic field, and the other reflected wave is cancelled by the one reflected component by utilizing that the one is inverted while the proportional relationship between the electric field and the magnetic field of the input wave.
