Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor brick having sufficient hot strength and preventing breakage even if used in a ceiling structure of a heating furnace, the furnace temperature of which reaches 1,300-1,400°C, and capable of being used for a long period of time.SOLUTION: An anchor brick 20 comprises a casting refractory and metal fibers dispersed in the casting refractory, wherein: a content of the metal fibers varies continuously or gradually so that the content is reduced in a lengthwise direction from an end of a back surface side of the anchor brick 20 toward an end of a working surface side thereof; the content of the metal fibers on the end of the back surface side thereof is 4-8 mass%; and the content of the metal fibers on the end of the working surface side thereof is 1 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1(a)
