To provide an anchor member for timber capable of firmly fitting a mounted member to a main member by an easy operation by firmly and fixedly fitting it into an anchor hole bored in a wooden main member by an easy operation.
The mounted member 3 is fitted to the main member through the anchor member 4 formed in the anchor hole 6 bored in the wooden main member 2. The anchor member 4 is formed by projectingly forming a plurality of extraction prevention piece parts 11 and flange parts 10 at the outer peripheral part 8a of a body part 8 having an inner peripheral screw part 9 integrally with each other. When the anchor member is driven into the anchor hole 6 while its driving amount is restricted, the extraction prevention piece parts 11 are crimped into the inner peripheral wall of the mounted member, and fitted to the main member 2 by wedge action.
