To provide an anchor to provide excellent dynamic characteristics, reduce friction resistance and a given drive force, and be rapidly and reliably locked at a foundation.
This anchor 1 is provided with an anchor rod 2 comprising a head 4 spreading in the driving direction thereof; and a sleeve 5 in which an axial through-hole is formed. The sleeve 5 is provided with a spreading region 6 having adjoining spreading flaps separated from each other by an axial slit 8 at an end part positioned facing the head 4, and the spread flap is radially developed through relative displacement between the sleeve 5 and the anchor rod 2. The rear end region 10 of a sleeve part connected to the spreading region 6 has a diameter larger than that of the front region 12 of the sleeve part situated adjacently to the spreading region. Further, a taper- shaped intermediate region 11 in a taper shape arranged between the rear end region 10 of the sleeve part and the front end region 12 has a minimum outside diameter M lower than the outside diameter F of the front end region 12.
