PURPOSE: To obtain an equipment for fixing a ship at anchor in a harbor in order to perform quickly a cargo loading and unloading.

CONSTITUTION: A water gate cutting off communications with the open sea is provided to a canal channel 1a equipped with quaywalls 1 and 1 on both sides thereof, a jack chamber 16 is provided to the bottom of the channel 1a, a bearing platform 8 capable of seating the bottom of a ship is fitted and inserted in the jack chamber, and the water gate is closed after the ship is led in the channel 1a, so that the ship is not influenced by waves. After that, water in the channel 1a is conveyed in the jack chamber 16 with a pouring water pump 12 to push up the bearing platform 8 upward, a deck 3a of the ship is lifted up to the same height as that of the quaywalls 1 and 1, and the ship is borne by projecting bearing members 6 and 6 used for a passage from between the quaywalls 1, 1 and deck 3a. The whole surface of the bearing members 6 and 6 used for the passage is so formed that it is used as a broad passage in the case a cargo loading and unloading work can be carried out by making use of the passage.
