The angle attachment for a rotary power tool includes a first assembly including a first shaft and a first gear, and a second assembly including a second shaft and a second gear. The second gear is engaged with the first gear while the longitudinal axis of the second shaft is neither collinear with the longitudinal axis of the first shaft nor parallel thereto, and includes a member which is coupled so as to attach/detach the angle attachment to/from a motor shaft of the rotary power tool and attachably/detachably coupled with the first assembly. At least a part of this member has a shape to be inserted in the component of the first assembly.
