Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular contact ball bearing having a retainer excellent in durability against a corrosive gas such as HF, and suitable for a vacuum pump for semiconductor manufacturing device.SOLUTION: An angular contact ball bearing includes an outer ring 1, an inner ring 2, a plurality of balls 3 arranged between the outer ring and the inner ring with a contact angle, and a retainer 4 for retaining the plurality of balls in a circumferential direction with a prescribed gap. In the retainer, total contents of a straight chain polyphenylene sulfide (L-PPS) and carbon fiber is 10 to 40% of total of the carbon composition.
