Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simultaneously realize the miniaturization and the increase of an alternating speed of a vibrating reed by coupling a first base substance for constituting a vibration driving part, and a second base substance for constituting a vibrating reed for detecting an input angular velocity through an elastic connecting part. CONSTITUTION:Vibrating reeds 13a, 13b corresponding to a second base substance to the tips of levers 12a, 12b turned back to an L type and extended, from both end parts in the long-size direction of a body substrate 111 of a vibration driving part 11 corresponding to a first base substance. Also, the vibrating reeds 13a, 13b are placed so that rigidity around the axis in the direction vertical to the vibration driving part 11 is low, and third piezoelectric converting elements 16a, 16b for detecting an input angular velocity around this axis are stuck. In such a way, a bend vibration given to the vibration driving part 11 is enlarged by elasticity of the L-type levers 12a, 12b and transmitted to the vibrating reeds 13a, 13b, therefore, an alternating speed which the vibrating reeds 13a, 13b have becomes large, and a sensitivity output of the input angular velocity around a detection axis 19 can be obtained large.
