Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cyclic AMP level increasing agent or a cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase inhibitor having an activity in acting on a mammalian cell and raising the cyclic AMP level, capable of substituting for hormones using the cyclic AMP as a second messenger and providing a medicine useful for improving health such as suppression of an increase in endothelial-permeability due to pulmonary vascular endothelial inflammation or a specific food material for health.
SOLUTION: This mammalian cell cyclic AMP level increasing agent or cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase inhibitor for the mammalian cell comprises a polymer of ferulic acid.
