To provide an animal excreta disposal material of powdery form which is highly absorptive and water-holdable for animal excreta including urine, easily drawable through aggregation by enclosing the excreta therein, and also burnable, by more inexpensively utilizing wood wastes produced from construction sites without using any paper pulp and paper products.
The animal excreta disposal material consists of granules as a mixture of a wood waste ground product mainly comprising fibrous wood waste particles of ≤5 mm in size and ≥4 in the ratio of the major axis to minor axis and a relatively small amount of an adhesive compared to the ground product. As this material can be obtained using wood wastes and a small amount of the adhesive such as a highly water-absorbing resin and/or paste, the wood wastes constituting the main component, therefore providing the inexpensive animal excreta disposal material utilizing the wastes.
