Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a complementary boundary scan cell having high failure allowance in which a decision can be made correctly.
CONSTITUTION: The complementary boundary scan cell comprises a boundary scan path input switching section 10, a boundary scan cell group 20 having (n) boundary scan cells, and a boundary scan path output switching section 30. These elements are provided, respectively, with two systems of boundary scan paths and a faulty system is replaced by the other system thus realizing high failure allowance.
